- It checks required values, basic number formats, option pairs, normalized SKU collisions, and ambiguous weight values.
- Fails closed
- Unclosed quotes, malformed rows, duplicate headers, duplicate normalized SKUs, and incomplete variant pairs are not guessed.
- Leaves taxonomy alone
- Supplier categories remain audit-only. This tool does not claim a verified Shopify taxonomy mapping.
- Never imports
- Catalog Guard has no store credentials, live import, Shopify affiliation, certification, or outcome guarantee.
